Is it legal to download YouTube videos

There are thousands of method and software to help you download videos from YouTube, even help you convert YouTube videos to any format you want and put them on your iPod, MP3 etc.

But it’s always discussed by a lot of people is it legal to download YouTube videos?

First, take an example to have a better explanation:
When you watch a video in flash from a website (like YouTube) the video is downloaded into your computer, in the folder “Temporary Internet Files” of your browser. The program does the same thing, allowing you to select the destination folder. This means that the file is saved on your computer while you watch the video and there remains until you do not delete.
What does this mean, yea, everybody are downloading videos whenever they watch YouTube videos.

So, what’s difference if you use some other method to download these YouTube videos directly to your computer and other mobile devices?

Enjoy it and download YouTube videos whenever you want, but I strongly advices you only use them for personal use, and don’t download these have copyright announcement.
